It has been a crazy month adjusting to a one-cat household. I think the princess (the name fits, believe me) loves being an only cat, though I worry that she is going to be lonely with my hours. Well, I am back to the daily grind. The time off was wonderful - I did a bunch of stuff around the house, goofed off a lot, and indulged in a facial. The house finally got painted, so I was relieved to get that off my list of things to do. Spinning class was a lot of fun. I learn to card with hand carders (which I still stink at), learned spinning from the fold, and how to navajo ply (sorta). I'm home sick today. I started feeling bad at the end of last week, pushed myself through the weekend and started feeling worse yesterday afternoon. Note to self, when you leave for work in a hurry and forget your knitting, its pretty much guaranteed that you have a sit and knit planned that night. I tried to be a brave soul, rearranged the front cabinet at the LYS, ate dinner, etc.....but those needles flying around me were just too much.
