December Whirlwind
How is it that Christmas is in a week??? And my mom's birthday is Wednesday??

I just got back from a quick solo trip to Atlanta. The long drive gave me time to catch up on my podcasts and try to figure out what remaining gifts I still need to get. Had a great trip and crammed a lot of shopping into a visit that was crammed with a lot of relatives. Unfortunately, a lot of that shopping was for me!!!!!!!! I got yarn, roving, a new spindle, and much, much more!

A photo recap will likely happen over the weekend. This week will be busy with work, baking, cleaning, and gift wrapping!

A whole lotta knitting, none of it for me
Work has been, well, a challenge. So, the spinning front has pretty much been nonexistent. The knitting front has not, as I have craved doing some basic, no brains required knitting....as that is exactly what is left in my head at the end of the day.

I've been doing some projects for the local LYS and wouldn't you know, I have forgotten to take pictures of all of it! I've done 2 scarves, a hat, and a baby hat (in cashmere!!) over the last week and a half. I have another ball of cashmere to make another baby hat tonight. This stuff is scrumptious!

I hope to get back to my projects soon. I really want to do another scarf for my mom (in silk or sea silk), but I haven't quick figured out the pattern yet. How can Christmas be coming so soon!!!!!! More later, when my brain has returned.
